The black programming committee is in charge of programming events that not only appeal to many of the black students on campus but as well events that can help other students become more diverse in their cultural experiences, and enriching the campus as a whole.

The black programming committee has brought the monthly third Thursday show which is the third Thursday of every month in the Black Culture Center, the annual homecoming comedy show, and has worked with the other DSA committees to bring Maya Angelou, and Darfur Diaries in the past.

BPC members provide MU with entertaining and educational programming that is geared to African-American students, however, all are encouraged to participate.

The majority of BPC’s programs are both free and open to the public.
