The Department of Student Communication concentrates solely on the communication aspects of the Missouri Students Association. DSC provides strategies for program specific advertising, and marketing for the different programs, and happenings of MSA. DSC as well works together with other branches of MSA in order to effectively communicate with students upcoming events, ongoing legislation, and overall the daily happenings within MSA. This is done through such mediums as the MSA Monthly email newsletter, and the inside front cover of the Friday edition Maneaters. Lastly DSC coordinates many large scale surveys of the MU student body to help provide student input to the other branches of MSA to ensure that every student dollar going to MSA, is spent the way the students want it to be spent.
