The Executive Cabinet

The MSA Executive Branch is a combination of many departments and auxiliary services whose purpose is to enhance specific facets of the student experience at MU. The executive branch is led by the executive cabinet, three student-run departments, eleven MSA-operated auxiliaries and oversees many other services.

Miyah Jones is a Senior from Nashville, TN studying Political Science with a minor in American Constitutional Democracy on a pre-law track. As a leader, she dedicates herself to ensuring that students' voices are heard, especially because advocacy runs in her DNA. Mizzou holds a special place in her heart and she plans to extend this sentiment to every Tiger during her term. Miyah's mission is to advocate for unity across campus and leave a lasting impact that showcases respect, responsibility, discovery, and excellence.

Senior studying Political Science and Black Studies

Cydney Perkins is a Senior from St. Louis, MO majoring in Black Studies & Political Science on a pre-law track. She also is pursuing a minor in Journalism. Cydney aims to use her degree to help underrepresented communities and believes that service begins at home. In the coming years, she wishes to look back on her life and know that she has done her part to make an impact. Cydney wants to create new, innovative ways to make our world, and Mizzou, a better place. She feels that it is her personal responsibility to work towards the progression of this university. As vice president, Cydney uses her platform to elevate the voices of all students and works to make Mizzou a better place for all True Tigers!

Tyeece Robinson is a Senior from Monroe, Louisiana studying Political Science with a Pre-Law emphasis. She is also pursuing minors in Business, Public Service, and Leadership. Tyeece is a dedicated individual who enjoys serving others on Mizzou's campus and beyond. Her involvement has equipped her with the necessary skills and knowledge to assist the Jones-Perkins Administration in ensuring that the voices and needs of students will be a top priority. As Chief of Staff, Tyeece focuses on aiding in communication and outreach efforts. Along with the rest of the team, she aims to bridge the gap between MSA, Mizzou administration, and students. Tyeece is confident that Jones and Perkins will ensure Mizzou's campus is a place for all Tigers.

This is Tehya Warren-Frederick. Tehya is a Senior from Kansas City double majoring in Political Science and Psychology with a minor in Black Studies. In an effort to connect her majors, Tehya plans on pursuing a career in law and working with legislation pertaining to healthcare and looks to try and create a more inclusive environment within the communities she is involved in. On campus, Tehya is involved in organizations such as the Legion of Black Collegians and Black Pre-Law Students Association on campus. Within her role as Vice Chief of Staff, Tehya is excited to reach out to the Mizzou community and make sure that Mizzou students are heard, understood, and know their importance to this campus and MSA.

Meet Lawrence Ogbuli, a senior from Chicago, IL majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in mathematics. Lawrence has many interests and hobbies that include traveling, basketball, and music. He currently serves the National Society of Black Engineers as Programs Chair. Within his role as MSA Treasurer, Lawrence is excited to allocate resources to underfunded organizations on campus and spread awareness regarding all the benefits MSA has to offer.

Hello friends! I’m Olivia Hinkle, a senior from Independence, Missouri studying Social Work. I have an interest in sexual therapy, education, and advocacy. My passion revolves around supporting and empowering others. I’ve been heavily involved in the New Student Programs office as a Summer Welcome Leader in 2022, a Summer Welcome Student Coordinator in 2023, and now as a Senior Coordinator. I’m also a member of the Council of Student Social Workers and Sexual Education & Advocacy at Mizzou. Additionally, I’ve been granted the position of Director of Accessibility, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity for the Missouri Students Association. I’m thrilled to work at making Mizzou a more accessible and equitable campus through the work of collaboration and progress!

Welcome Calvin Banks to the team! Calvin is a junior from Rock Island, Illinois majoring in Educational Studies with an emphasis in Educational Leadership. In Missouri Students Association, he serves as the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator. His role is to plan events that promote the Association and their goals. Not only does the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator create events with his specialists, he also works with the other members of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches to coordinate items that will serve the Mizzou community and beyond. Calvin and his team are determined to execute events that uphold the four pillars of the University. We represent YOU! As the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator, Calvin is always ready to assist his President and Vice President with the events they would like to have come to fruition. Rachel Richardson is a senior from Chicago, IL studying Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communications. She has been involved with various organizations on campus such as Diversity Peer Educators, Mizzou Black Women's Initiative, LBC Gospel Choir, QEBH Honorary Society, and the Alumni Association Student Board. In her free time, Rachel enjoys creative endeavors like singing, dancing, writing, and content creation! Throughout her time at Mizzou, Rachel has found a passion for advocacy and is passionate about making campus a better place for all Tigers. Before joining the cabinet, Rachel served as Missou4U's deputy campaign manager and has been invested with the administration ever since. As the Executive Branch's Public Relations Coordinator, she is committed to spreading awareness about MSA's goals and the work that the organization continues to do at Mizzou. Yudita Lubani, born and raised in the vibrant city of Kansas City, Missouri, is a junior with a diverse array of interests and involvements. She is currently pursuing a degree in counseling psychology while also aiming to obtain a certificate in information technology, showcasing her passion for both the human mind and incorporating them with technological advancements. Yudita is an active member of her university community, where she serves on the communications board for the alumni associate student board. Her dedication to fostering connections and communication among students and alumni reflects her commitment to the institution's growth and legacy. In addition to her involvement in the alumni associate student board, Yudita is a proud member of the National Society of Black Engineers, demonstrating her dedication to diversity and excellence in the field of engineering. Meet Nonso Ogbuefi, a senior from Bolingbrook, Illinois, majoring in Electrical Engineering with a minor in mathematics. Nonso is passionate about playing basketball and has a keen interest in travel and creating innovative inventions. Currently, he serves as the Secretary of the National Society of Black Engineers and also holds the position of Residential Advisor. In his role with the MSA, Nonso is enthusiastic about ensuring that the Mizzou community has access to all the valuable resources that MSA offers, with a focus on efficient information dissemination through the website.
