Department of Student Communications
The Department of Student Communications performs public relations services for MSA. In addition to advertising, DSC conducts surveys to gather student opinion and provides strategies for marketing for the specific programs and happenings of MSA. DSC also works with other branches of MSA to effectively communicate with students about upcoming events, ongoing legislation, and overall daily happenings within MSA. DSC outreaches to campus organizations, provides strategies for marketing specific programs and events of MSA, and operates the MSA website and social media sites.

- We’re more than willing to work with the media on stories or projects they might be pursuing, and we encourage them to contact us with any questions.
- Interviews with the MSA President should be arranged through the DSC. Email is the preferred way of initial contact, but phone calls are welcome as well.
- Questions for any MSA auxiliaries (such as KCOU, MUTV, Craft Studio) should be directed to those auxiliaries. Contact information can be found on each auxiliary’s website. If cannot find specific contact information, please contact the DSC
