Presidential Address

My name is Josiah Mendoza, and I am incredibly excited to be your next Student Body President as a part of the Show Me Mizzou slate! I’m a sophomore from Kansas City and am currently pursuing a major in business administration with a minor in economics.

When I came to Mizzou in Fall 2020, I made a concerted effort to be involved on campus and was elected as an at-large member of the MSA Senate while also becoming a member of Sigma Tau Gamma. I was elected President of the College Republicans at the end of my freshman year which gave me the honor of sitting on the Vice Chancellor’s President’s Council. Throughout my time here, I have had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to so many wonderful people from so many different backgrounds.

Simply put, I’m enormously grateful for my college experience thus far and am seeking to enhance that experience for others. With our combined experience in leadership, Molly and I are ready to better your college experience through student safety, student service, and student support. But that’s not it, we are also the slate that is fully equipped to campaign with and govern on the principle of nonpartisanship. We are seeking to have the most representative outlook regardless of one’s political background. For these reasons, we ask for your vote this election!

We’re dedicated to demonstrating that no amount of distance or difference can supersede the pride of being a Missouri Tiger. From Dome to Dome, we can’t wait to “Show You Mizzou.”
