Auxiliaries

The Missouri Students Association currently operates three student-ran auxiliary programs to help meet the emerging needs of our campus community. Auxiliaries are student ran and operated programs supported by MSA, the Graduate Professional Council (GPC), and the University of Missouri that provide direct service and support to students, faculty, and staff. MSA Auxiliaries are generally student services started by students for students until they grow into full fledged programs and leave MSA to continue to grow.

Tiger Pantry

Tiger Pantry strives to assist, educate, and empower those facing food insecurity within the University of Missouri community. We advocate for changing the perception of hunger on campus and to offer resources to students, faculty, and staff so that they may focus on the experiences uniquely available at Mizzou.

Truman's Closet

Truman’s Closet offers Mizzou and MU Health Care students, staff, and faculty a way to borrow professional and business attire appropriate for career fairs, interviews, and the workplace. Clothing can affect one’s confidence and how others perceive them. There are times, such as interviews, when the first impression is everything.

Filling in the Space (FITS)

Filling in the Space (FITS) aims to encourage more underrepresented students to get involved and hold important student leadership roles while in their time at Mizzou. Through networking and building community within influential student organizations, FITS is able to expand the voice of underrepresented students and continue the efforts of inclusion, diversity and equitable practices across campus.

STRIPES

The STRIPES safe ride program by the Missouri Students Association (MSA) was reinstated as a partnership with Uber for Business. Undergraduate and graduate students who pay the Student Activity Fee will receive $10 per month to use on up to 2 trips from downtown Columbia to their residence.
